South Brisbane Land Rover launch the all-new Evoque

On Friday, July 12, 2019, our South Brisbane Land Rover dealership held their official launch of the all-new Range Rover Evoque, at Sirromet Winery in Mount Cotton.

It was a generous mix of off-road adventure, fine wine, delicious food and stellar entertainment for our guests.

The afternoon began with a brief welcome from Daniel Bowden - General Manager of South Brisbane Jaguar Land Rover before our VIP guests were treated to an off-road adventure in the all-new Range Rover Evoque. With our experienced and skilled sales and service team at the wheel, we crossed the scenic paddocks of the estate and then detoured through Sirromet's very own 4X4 track - demonstrating the Evoque's impressive off-road capabilities. Utilising the Terrain Response 2, the New Evoque handled the off-road track with confidence & composure. Obstacles throughout the track encouraged the new Evoque to make the most of its new design and technology features. Such as; the best-in-class 30.6-degree departure angle, new Sports Command Driving position and optional ClearSight Ground View.

Guests returned in convoy to the Sirromet Barrel Hall and were invited to taste wines specifically matched to the Range Rover Evoque, by Sirromet's in-house Sommelier. Whilst enjoying an outstanding grazing table, our guests continued to explore the display vehicles up close and personal and generally soaked up the atmosphere. We were privileged to also share the occasion with dealership ambassador Glenn Boss - three-time Melbourne Cup winner aboard the iconic Makybe Diva, Brett Frizelle - Chief Executive Officer of Frizelle Sunshine, and Brisbane Councillor Ryan Murphy and his partner Emma.

Chris Mitchel, South Brisbane Jaguar Land Rover, gave guests an overview of the new era of the Range Rover before introducing our very own ambassador, ARIA award winning Amy Shark. Amy entertained our guests perfectly, performing sublime acoustic renditions of her three biggest hits, Mess Her Up, Adore and I Said Hi. The moody and rustic charm of Sirromet's Barrel Hall, together with Amy's exquisite voice made for a truly moving experience for the intimate group.

Attendees were in awe of the impressive new edition Range Rover Evoque. The design itself oozes the perfect combination of adventure, style and luxury. Together with its impressive technology, open-plan and roomy interior, smooth engine and drive-style, guests were left wanting more.
