Supporting the communities around us is an important value at Frizelle Sunshine. It makes sense then that we attract people with this same sense of community spirit, and our Stock Controller Ann New from our Lismore dealership is a testament to this!

Ann has been with the Frizelle Sunshine group for almost 15 years and alongside her commitment to her role, she has passionately volunteered with the Cancer Council NSW for Lismore and Villages Relay For Life since 2006. Her involvement as both an entrant and Committee member is a passion for Ann.

Last year, Ann and her daughter Jessie, who is also on the Committee, were asked to attend the Relay For Life Leaders Summit by their local Cancer Council. The event saw all attendees (from many NSW Relay For Life committees) collaborate together to workshop ideas and ways to bring their Relay events to the community.

When Ann is asked of her involvement and her dedication to the charity outside of a busy working life, she reminds us that "We are making a difference and each one of us has been touched by cancer in some way in our lives." After experiencing a personal loss to cancer, Ann has been determined to give to a cause close to her heart.

Her contribution brings recognition and hope to survivors and carers alike.
