Cory Hill is a professional Surfski paddler. He has remained a member ever since. A 3-year professional competitor in Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Ironman, he also placed second in the elite open male category of the Coolangatta Gold. During these achievements Cory realised he was passionate about surf ski paddling.

One of the hosts of the popular Flan & Emily Jade breakfast show on 102.9 Hot Tomato, Emily Jade is a Jill of all trades. A writer, radio announcer, marriage celebrant, children's swimwear designer and appears regularly on TV as a social commentator.
She's presented radio for the past 22 years, heard throughout Tasmania, Toowoomba, Brisbane and of course, the Gold Coast. Her TV career started as the weekend weather presenter for Southern Cross Tasmania and it wasn't long before she was snapped up by Channel 9 to host the national children's show Download. She then made the move to reporter, as the Mornings with Kerri-Anne Brisbane reporter, while filing stories for The Footy Show.
Career highlights include winning the Year Four Chatter Champ Award, 1997 Miss Launceston Cup and 13th place in the Gold Coast Bulletins Best Dressed competition.
Whilst it's hard to top those prestigious awards, her proudest achievement is her two beautiful children, Millie Valentine and Teddy James.
Sean Flanagan (Flan) has been at 1029 Hot Tomato for over a decade now, first joining the station in 2007 where he planned to play golf in the morning and talk on the radio to drive Gold Coasters home.
The natural jokester now livens up the breakfast show Flan, Emily Jade and Christo from 5am every morning.
It's no surprise that with loads of early morning starts, Flan enjoys sleeping in his spare time and spending time with his beautiful wife Lisa and their children, Chloe and Jack.
Flan started out playing Australian School Boys Rugby Union and went on to play for the Aussie under 21s side while studying Physiotherapy in Sydney – competing internationally against New Zealand, Tonga and Fiji.
It wasn't until a talent contest at University that Flan realised he wanted to head down the comedy path. He stood up, told jokes and took out first prize!
Flan reflects fondly on his first gig in radio - he wrote for the Andrew Denton Breakfast Show on Triple M in Sydney, with Amanda Keller and Dave Gibson - and has described every part of his career since as 'lucky'.
He's still stoked that he works with such a happy team at Hot Tomato!
Recently Flan has rekindled his love of music, learning the bass and rediscovering his rock n roll side. On Monday nights you might even hear him jamming and mucking around with some buddies after work!
Something Flan needs to get off his chest? He hides stuff down the back of the lounge and blames his kids.
